Announcing the 2025-26 Girls Tier II (AA) Coaches, Program Structure, and Tryout Dates

Nashville, TN – As the program prepares for the 2025-26 season, the Nashville Jr. Predators proudly announce our Girls Tier II (AA) program structure, coaching staff, and tryout dates.  

 

This season’s coaching staff features dedicated individuals with diverse backgrounds, from NHL coaching experience to grassroots development. We will be adding a 12U tournament team to our girl’s program.

Additionally, tryouts for the 2025-26 season will be held in Nashville, TN, at Ford Ice Center – Antioch over May 10-11, 2025. Tryout Registration Link: 12U, 14U, 16U, 19U

12U/14U AA (Tournament Team): Allie LaCombe

Bringing over 10 years of coaching experience, Allie LaCombe rejoins the Jr. Predators for her third season as the 12U/14U Girls Coach. She has coached and developed players at every level of the game, including guest coaching at NHL Development Camps for the Vancouver Canucks and Carolina Hurricanes. Allie is an NHL Coaches’ Association (NHLCA) Female Coaches Development Program member. She is known for bringing her extensive professional hockey experience and teaching ability to the development of young athletes, making her a valuable asset to the Jr. Predators.

 

A native of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, LaCombe played NCAA Division I hockey at Syracuse University, where she led the nation in faceoff percentage during her senior year. Her professional playing career included time in the NWHL with the Connecticut Whale and the European Women’s Hockey League (EWHL) with the Vienna Sabres (Austria), where she won an EWHL title, and Almaty Aisulu (Kazakhstan).

 

Beyond her playing career, she has worked in digital marketing and trained NHL, AHL, USHL, and NCAA players and youth in skill development.

14U AA: Allie LaCombe (HC) & Kahlie Singletary (AC)

 

16U AA: Amanda Lupo

Coming off her first season as the Nashville Jr. Predators Girls’ Director, Amanda Lupo looks to continue growing the sport in the Nashville area. Before coming to Nashville, Amanda was an Assistant Coach at Utica University and the goalie coach at Hamilton College. 

 

Amanda played four years of hockey at Utica University (NCAA DIII) and played golf and lacrosse. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in health and education and a dual master’s in Health and Physical Education. While getting her master’s, Amanda also helped coach Clinton High School to a state championship. 

 

14U/19U AA: Kahlie Singletary

Kahlie Singletary brings 20 years of coaching experience at the U19 level and is currently in her seventh year with the Nashville Jr. Predators. She has been with the program’s 19U coach since its inception in 2019 and co-founded the girls’ program with Allie LaCombe. Before the Jr. Predators, she dedicated 12 seasons as the Girls’ Director for Nashville Girls Hockey.

 

Over the past six seasons, Kahlie has led the 19U team to five SE District Championships, one National Championship, and one Runner-up and helped 36 players advance to NCAA D1, D3, and ACHA hockey.

 

Beyond coaching, Kahlie is a Teaching and Learning Training Specialist for UT Extension, a member of the NHL Coaches’ Association (NHLCA) Female Coaches Development Program, and the Southern Amateur Hockey Association’s Girls/Women’s Committee Chair. She is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business.

 

Originally from Farmington, MN, Kahlie resides in Lebanon, TN, with her husband, Josh, and their dog, Hovie.
