Jr. Predators Announce Brandon Walker as New Board President
Nashville, TN—The Nashville Jr. Predators are thrilled to announce Brandon Walker’s appointment as the organization’s new Board President, effective immediately. Walker succeeds Kristen Bowness, whose dedication and leadership were instrumental in the program’s continued growth and success over the past four years.
Brandon Walker rejoins the Nashville Jr. Predators with an impressive background. He currently serves as the Director of Team Operations and Player Relations for the Nashville Predators, a role he has held for more than two decades. Walker previously served as the Board President for the Jr. Predators from 2010-2016, before its merger with Thunder AAA Hockey.
During his tenure with the Predators, Walker has been a key figure behind the scenes, contributing to the franchise’s development by fostering strong relationships between the organization’s players and staff with the middle Tennessee community. His extensive experience in player development, team operations, and organizational leadership makes him an ideal fit to guide the Nashville Jr. Predators into an exciting new chapter.
“I am very excited about working with the Jr. Preds leadership, directors and coaches, focusing on the ever-expanding future of youth hockey in Nashville,” said Walker about assuming this new role. “Since moving here more than 20 years ago, the growth of youth hockey in this area has been outstanding, and I look forward to seeing it grow even more. From beginner programs to the elite players in the top boys and girls programs, helping it all progress is very important. Thank you to the Nashville Predators and the Nashville Jr. Predators for the opportunity.”
In addition to his role with the Nashville Predators, Walker runs Elite Edge Hockey Showcase, one of the best development and showcase opportunities for youth players looking to play college/junior hockey now or in the future. Over 200 players participate yearly with coaches from 40+ professional, NCAA DI & DIII, junior, and AAA programs. The showcase is a driving factor in the over seventy (70) NJP-Alum that have played Division I NCAA and the seventy-two (72) that have played Division III.
Walker joins NHL alum and former NJP coach Jim McKenzie and former NJP coach Steve Milosevski on the Jr. Predators Board of Directors. Under Walker’s leadership and vision, the organization aims to DEVELOP, IMPACT, and GUIDE the next generation of Nashville Jr. Preds!
