Nashville Jr. Predators 2017-18 Hockey Operations Staff

The Nashville Jr. Predators have put together a top notch hockey Operations staff to lead the Jr. Predators into their inaugural season at the Tier 1 level.  Along with our professional parent run hockey board here is a listing of our hockey leadership team.

Director of Hockey Operations – Jordan French

Jordan French returns for his third season as the director of hockey operations. Jordan has many years of experience in running, coaching, and directing Tier I youth hockey. Jordan is responsible for all Hockey business, Staff and direction for the Nashville Jr. Predators.

Midget Director / Billet Coordinator – Adam Bartholomay

Adam has been a Tier I hockey director, and a U15, U16, and U18 coach for many years. Adam has had a long playing career including IHL, ECHL, USHL, and NCAA experience. Adam’s contacts are endless and will work with Jordan on a daily basis at the U15, U16 and U18 age groups for the organization.

Assistant Hockey Director – Director Player Development – Harlan Pratt

Harlan is full time hockey coach and has been coaching for several years. Prior to coaching, Harlan was drafted in the fifth round of the NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins and sustained an 18 year professional playing career in the  AHL, IHL, ECHL, WHL, and European Pro leagues. Harlan also has great contacts throughout the Jr. and professional ranks and works with Jordan on a daily basis for the organization.

Assistant Hockey Director – Assistant Midget Director – Corey Toy

Corey is a full time hockey coach. Corey has been coaching since his playing career in professional hockey concluded. Corey’s playing career included years in the ECHL, USHL, and the NCAA. Corey’s ability to consult and coach players on Jr. and college hockey is a great asset. Corey has a deep list of NCAA contacts and works with Jordan on a daily basis for our players.

Goaltending Coach – Strength Coach – Josh Righter

Josh enters his first season as the NJP’s new goaltending and strength coach. Josh is a former Russell Stover AAA U18 goaltender that has coached in the SPHL. Josh currently works as the wellness director for the Nashville YMCA. Josh is a certified trainer and will work with our hockey staff and Medical Director to help develop off-ice and goaltending programs for NJP players.

President – Coach – Clayton Giffen

Clayton is a non-parent volunteer, president, and coach for the NJP. Clayton has coached all levels of youth hockey from AA Squirt to AAA Midget. Clayton played at the Jr A. level in Canada and has been coaching for more than 20 years.

Parent Committee / Member – Coach – Martin Rioux

Martin is a Hockey coach with the NJP that has many years of coaching experience. Martin played Jr. A hockey in Canada and prior moving to Tennessee, Martin was also a board member for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey Club, “Val d’Or Foreur”.

Nashville Predators / NJP Board Member – Jack Burk

Jack works for the Nashville Predators and has been a High School hockey State champion (New Trier Green)  and  Tier 1 hockey player for the Chicago Young Americans growing up in the Chicagoland area. Jack has coached at various levels in Chicago and Nashville and is a USA hockey level 3 coach.

We are currently working with our head coaches to sign associate/assistant coaches.  We have a lot of great coaches that we are working with to fill these spots.   The positions are TBA until they have signed a contract with the Nashville Jr. Predators.
